Town boss Paul Jewell says he won’t pick his team for Saturday’s game at Blackpool until he assesses the seven players who have been away on international duty this week. Keith Andrews and Damien Delaney have been with the Republic of Ireland, David Stockdale with England, Josh Carson with Northern Ireland, Tamás Priskin with Hungary, Carlos Edwards with Trinidad and Tobago and Jaime Peters with Canada.

Town loan midfielder Keith Andrews has been named in the Republic of Ireland starting line-up for their Euro 2012 qualifier against Russia in Moscow on Tuesday (Sky Sports Two/HD2 3.55pm). The match will be played at the Luzhniki where the Blues beat Torpedo Moscow in the UEFA Cup in 2001.

The 30-year-old, who is at Portman Road from Blackburn until January, is currently back in Ireland with Giovanni Trapattoni’s squad ahead of their Euro 2012 qualifiers against Slovakia and Russia.

The visitors dominated the first half and went in front via Ross McCormack, but after the break Leeds had Aidan White sent off for pulling down Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and Scotland and then Andrews’s deflected last-minute strike saw Town to the points.
